Usually, her parents put lots of presents under the tree, but because they are travelling to see family on Christmas eve this year, they are doing a gift exchange instead. The Gift Exchange Girl is a little leery of this new practice, but hopes that she will still get a fun present that she can share with her brother. Gift Exchange Girl is dressed in a festive red dress for the party, her mom even sewed on a Christmas tree applique to the front, and of course she is wearing her favorite red and white striped socks! She carries the present she will use for the gift exchange, so proud that she picked it out herself!
