October is my favorite month of the year, but I hate Halloween.
There I said it.
It feels good to say it out loud.

I hate Halloween. I hate being scared, I hate the creepy decor, but boy do I love the candy...and the kids dressed up as super heroes and princesses. So these are a couple of things that you can add to your Halloween season that I don't hate.
This Jack O lantern glitter lantern. I love Jack O Lanterns and I love glitter lanterns so its perfect. |
I love a well lite front porch and these add just the right touch!
Light up your outdoor walkway or sitting area with these Solar LED Flickering Flame Pathway Torches that provide a flickering flame effect.
Comes with ground stake, 2 extension poles and parts to assemble to your chosen height of 15", 25", or 36" tall.
How the solar torch works: During the day, the top of the solar panel converts sunlight into electricity and recharges the battery. At night, the light will automatically turn on using the electricity stored (you can also cover the solar panel with your hand to enable night mode). At dawn, the light will automatically turn off and enter charging mode. You may choose to turn unit off when you don't want the light to turn on automatically every night by pressing the power button.
I also love that they don't need batteries. |
Maybe it was because my mom always wore seasonal broaches on her coats. Maybe its because I'm in my 40's, but I have to admit my love of seasonal earrings. We have bats, witch hats (one earring says good witch the other says bad witch) and these candy corns.
There is an inner struggle with candy corn. I love the look of it. The colors, the shape... but I hate to eat it. I want to see glass jars filled with it as a decor choice, but never eat it. Ew. |
Because I love kids in costumes, I love the Halloween Lori Mitchell collectibles.
We have a mom who comes in every year around this time and checks out the newest figurines. She picks her favorites and then proceeds to make matching costumes for her 2 kids.
I can't wait to see what she picks this year. My vote this year is Scarlette Starlet and Pumpkin thief.
Do any of these look like things your kids dressed up as for Halloween? |
